Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Managed shared mailbox and route tasks to other team members
• Coordinate and organize appeals related reference materials
• Process invoice appeals within the specific requirements of client-specific processes
• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output
• Process invoices for importing within 1-2 business days of receipt
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete entries
• Update databases and relay information to pertinent parties when appropriate
• Track client authorizations and exceptions in company database
• Communicate with and respond to queries from clients and law firms about appealed invoices as needed
• Work closely with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of client data
• Prioritize workload according to Quovant methodology and client guidelines
• Cross-train to support other team members within Compliance Services when needed or as requested by department manager
Requirements & Skills:
• Education/training/experience in a legal related field preferable
• Knowledge of legal terminology and legal practices (including hourly billing); thorough understanding of litigation process a plus
• Knowledge or familiarity with Zendesk is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a strong commitment to team success
• Ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule
• Ability to learn new programs and take on new tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to maintain complete confidentiality
Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• An Associate’s degree or higher preferred
