Join our dynamic team and embark on an exciting journey of innovation and growth as we seek a hard-working and dedicated individual for role of CPQ Developer you will work in an agile way to identify and deliver the technical solutions and improvements to CPQ. You will be one of primary Global CPQ Pricing team members for Commercial functions globally and outcome-focused conversations that will prioritize and deliver right information at right time and drive the ongoing solution build so that the desired outcomes are met. You will be a key member of our team driving this capability as part of our implementation of PROS - CPQ globally.

What will you be doing?

  • Your role will be to support the Global CPQ Centre of Excellence, within the Commercial IT organisation, and it has dual responsibilities: Provide Global Accountability and Ownership of the PROS - CPQ Pricing solution, alongside the Systems Analyst (s) and CPQ COE Senior Manager.
  • You will report to the IT Senior Manager CPQ and has a high level of autonomy to manage activity with business stakeholders, customers, and suppliers. Transparently works across the business and IT communities to build focused teams with the right skills and leadership.
  • Work with relevant technical teams to achieve the goals of the COE transforming our commercial capabilities with new projects or enhancements. Support Project Implementation tasks on country CPQ rollouts. Proactively own the CPQ & Pros Control development and document all technical solutions.
  • Strategize: Support a strategy that enables S+N's global pricing ambitions for commercial. Engage and Consult: Be visible and engaged with stakeholders and colleagues on all things commercial pricing, providing advice, leadership, and accountability.
  • Design: Deliver in-depth Commercial IT process analysis to enable new and improved business processes and accelerate the ability of IT to deliver the required solutions.
  • Documentation of technical specifications.  Analysis and documentation of the process, data, and people required to meet the story success criteria, and what transformations are required to make it useful. Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive harmonization and simplification of processes across divisions and regions. Recommend solutions to improve new and existing Pros Insights and Analytics solutions.
  • Govern & Communicate: Provide expert arbitration and appropriate governance/escalation for areas relating to commercial excellence. Ensure alignment of system changes with business objectives, leverage of assets and practices, and synthesis with broader corporate-wide priorities.
  • Coach and Develop: Develop Future IT staff and promote CPQ capabilities in line with S+N Culture, Agile methods, and innovative thinking.  Provide 'Show and Tell' sessions when required.
  • Help develop and deliver a global strategy for PROS - CPQ. Support the development of a clear roadmap for new capabilities and deliverables (with CPQ Systems Analysts and Global Pricing COE).
  • Successful delivery of all CPQ technical implementations. Successful QA test all system changes before release to UAT.
  • System Production Support root cause analysis. Low code configuration and catalogue management. Work with the Vendor to ensure quality of the solution.
  • Analysis and build of global reports for approved KPI measures, using CPQ analytics. Technical training support to team members where applicable.
  • Always act in a responsible manner, avoid risk to self or to the company, and comply with workplace safety and health and security policy.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred - or equivalent.
  • Operating Mode: Work from office – 2 days in a week, Kharadi, Pune.
  • Experience:
  • Medical Devices Industry work experience, with at least 2 years working with or in IT Commercial Projects, is not essential but would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of Pros CPQ. Experience in the IT industry in developing Java based web applications.
  • Knowledge in SQL technologies, PL-SQL, JavaScript, UNIX/LINUX, XML and Custom Task with PROS tool.
  • Experience of Salesforce CRM solutions would be advantageous
  • Experienced in developing sales-oriented solutions, cross-functional teams, and influencing management and key stakeholders. Includes advanced technical and business knowledge, quality assurance, and project management.
  • Has worked in a regulated business. Demonstrated experience as a member of IT/Business Projects that transform business needs into new applications or capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated architecture design to management and other IT development partners.
  • Highly proficient in gaining consensus and collaboration with peers in the migration journey from current on prem to future state cloud-based technologies and architectures.
