The Toast Education team strives to create empowered and self-sufficient customers through engaging and impactful learning experiences. In this content creation role, you will design and develop relevant educational resources to set up customers and Toasters for success with the Toast product suite. You’ll work closely with Technical Enablement and Customer Lifecycle business partners to identify and fill education gaps for Toast’s newest customer bases and product releases, using your instructional design and project management abilities to create dynamic learning experiences. You will evaluate the success of learning solutions, recommend and guide improvements, and develop adult learner-centered solutions focused on driving business results.
Do you have the right ingredients? This Toaster thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities and deadlines inspire you to find creative, informed, and innovative learning solutions to business problems. Your product mentality means you’re comfortable seeking out user feedback, using agile development strategies, and considering experimentation a norm to create progressive learning products.
Specifically in this role, you’ll be expected to:
- Use your analytical and strategic thinking to assess business and learner needs, and recommend scalable, high-impact learning solutions.
- Design and develop innovative educational experiences to reduce cost to serve, increase product adoption across the Toast customer base, and drive down support tickets.
- Execute a multi-modality content strategy (training, videos, articles, in-product walkthroughs, etc) to build a globalized education ecosystem of resources, supporting emerging markets and international expansion.
- Evolve existing educational resources to tailor to the needs of new customer segments.
- Apply adult learning theory and industry knowledge to stay on the cutting edge and set the bar for design standards that provide a results-driven learning experience.
- Evaluate and communicate the impact of learning solutions using Kirkpatrick’s four levels.
- Apply Agile methodologies to work efficiently via sprints in Asana, iterating as needed along the way, and staying in lock-step with business partners and stakeholders.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to craft, revise, and maintain comprehensive and accurate learning assets.
- Manage multiple project deadlines and maintain regular output of content delivery. Remain flexible as priorities shift and communicate status updates as needed.
