ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Senior QA Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the QA team, developing test strategies, overseeing end-to-end test activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The role requires deep expertise in QA methodologies-including hands-on experience with TOSCA test suite-and excellent leadership skills to drive team performance and collaboration across cross-functional and external teams. Team coordination and planning are integral parts of the role, ensuring smooth communication, effective guidance, and alignment with project goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

• Lead and mentor a QA team, providing guidance, support, and coordination for daily activities and project planning.
• Leverage automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, pyTest, and TOSCA for test automation and management.
• Oversee testing of technologies including Python, Linux, scripting, Docker, UI, and backend systems.
• Coordinate and execute test activities, including the use of simulators and system-level testing.for team members for 1:1 discussions, project task support, and assistance with objective setting and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with external test teams to ensure alignment and integration of testing efforts.
• Support team members in aligning daily efforts toward project objectives, tracking progress, and removing blockers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies, including the adoption of AI-driven testing techniques.
• Work with teams around the world including Europe and US timezones.
• Perform other tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a QA Test Lead or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Experience in running testing planning meetings, defect triage, testing entry/exit gateways, and t closure meetings.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Robot Framework, pyTest, TOSCA).
• Deep understanding of Agile software development methodology and Azure DevOps.
• Certification in QA or software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
• Experience with AI technologies and their application in quality assurance processes is a plus.
• Experience in the satellite communications and technologies field is highly desirable.
• Experience with AI-driven testing tools and integrating AI solutions into existing frameworks.
• Experience in the satellite communications and technologies field is highly desirable.
• TOSCA certification (e.g., Tricentis Certified Practitioner or equivalent) is a plus.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
