Senior Systems Operations Engineer

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer.
In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
• Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Python , Prompt engineering , Machine learning
• 4+ Years of experience in Production / Application support teams (including troubleshooting application issues / installations / deployments / configurations)
• 2+ Years of experience in Windows or Linux Administration
• Change/problem/incident management experience
• For Windows environments - experience in IIS, SQL Server Administration, Windows administration, Windows PowerShell scripting
• For Linux environments - experience in Unix Scripting
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys
• Experience with app or web servers such as Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBOSS (and/or combination of these)
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL (and/or combination of these)
• DevOps tools/experience - Github, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible
• Experience with SRE, Application, System and Database monitoring tools such as ITRS, AppDynamics, Splunk, Netcool, Elk and Basemon
• SSL Certificate management experience
• Knowledge of ticket tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Jira
• Experience with Agile / Kanban methodologies

Job Expectations:

• Having Knowledge on monitoring tools like ITRS , AppDynamics, SPLUNK , Grafana , Service Now Autosys/Control-M , AiOps - (Mandatorily should have used it, Preferable if candidate has worked on its setup) Netcool uDeploy GitHub JIRA/Confluence
• History of implementation of efficiencies, resiliencies, automations and transformations
• He/She must have knowledge on AI tools like chatgpt , prompt engineering , Co-pilot
• Ai , Machine Learning, Prompt engineering are required
