Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Engineer needs to be having strong working experience in RedHat Linux and Windows OS environment., in order to manage system changes and technical support for Alvaraia/Verint Workforce Management, Nice Recording Solution, Nexidia Analytics Solution, and associated Contact Center application systems. They need a strong working knowledge of SQL Scripting and DB configuration and deployment. They should also be knowledgeable about SSL certificate management, and SSL handshake troubleshooting.
- Working experience in RedHat Linux, Windows OS environment
- IBM WebSphere Application Server/Apache HTTP/Tomcat/IIS Administration
- SQL and Shell Scripting
- ServiceNow Incident and change management
- SSL certificate management in Web and Application server
- Any Cloud experience
- We use NDM, Autosys, Crystal Reports but it will be difficult to find someone with all technologies we use. We should be good with the above.
- Knowledge on Observability tools (Splunk, Thousand Eyes)
- Responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of technical work and projects with moderate to high risk and complexity, impacting small/large number of users and/or departments.
- Manage communications from team for own work and team's deliverables
- Maintain and update documentation used by team for performing its activities (guidelines, checklists, templates, reports etc)
In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
• Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualification:

• Alvaraia/Verint Workforce Management, Nice Recording Solution, Nexidia Analytics Solution, and associated Contact Center application systems.
• SQL Scripting and DB configuration and deployment.
• CCaaS or Five9 is an added advantage.
• Cloud Certification
