KPIT, a Pune-based company specializing in software-defined vehicle development, announced its acquisition of N-Dream, developer of the in-car gaming system AirConsole. KPIT purchased a majority stake in N-Dream, increasing its share ownership from 26 percent to about 90 percent.

N-Dream’s AirConsole solution lets passengers use their smartphones as controllers to play games directly on a vehicle’s infotainment screen. The gaming experience is further intensified through sound and ambient lighting integrations. Since entering the automotive sector in 2022, N-Dream has launched this tech across BMW, MINI, Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche vehicles.

Leveraging KPIT’s industry expertise, this acquisition will allow N-Dream to further its mission and expand its offerings beyond gaming. The company will develop a new generation of in-cabin software to incorporate interactivity, personalization and connected services for customers across brands and markets.
