Poonawalla Fincorp, a non-banking finance company based in Pune, announced the appointment of its new chief technology officer. Salil Hajarnis joins the team with more than two decades of technology leadership experience in enterprise architecture, software engineering and AI integration.
Prior to joining Poonawalla Fincorp, Hajarnis served as head of technology for India at Fiserv where he took charge of initiatives such as AI and API-enabled solutions, real-time integrations and platform modernization. In his new capacity as CTO, Hajarnis will spearhead the company’s technology strategy with a focus on digital transformation and AI-driven customer solutions.
Hajarnis’ experience in the North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific regions will strengthen Poonawalla Fincorp’s commitment to fueling growth using technology. He will oversee and shape the company’s technology roadmap, improve its operational efficiency and work to provide high-quality customer experiences.
