India claims the third-largest ecosystem for startups, with more than 100,000 early-stage businesses creating innovative solutions for a diverse range of sectors from IT, edtech and life sciences to food and beverages. In fact, it’s estimated that one in every ten unicorns — that is, top projects valued at $1 billion and beyond — was founded in India.

Top Startup Companies in Pune

Chainlink Labs has a fully distributed workforce and a work-from-anywhere policy. Through its blockchain-based technology, the company aims to maximize trust by decentralizing data authentication to establish cryptographic truth. The company completes 3 million shipments per day to over 20,000 pin codes.

 

Rebel Foods is a food delivery platform with hundreds of cloud kitchens spread across 75 cities. These takeout-only facilities are used by more than 4,000 virtual restaurants, and can be outsourced to other restaurateurs to expand an existing brand or build a new one online at low cost. Since its 2011 launch, Rebel Food has raised over half-a-billion dollars in various funding rounds.

 

Fintech startup Fibe, formerly known as EarlySalary, launched its money lending app in 2015 with the goal to make financial assistance accessible and affordable to mid-income groups. The platform features quick turnaround cash, one-time application for multiple loans, credit score checks and salary advances for B2B applications. To date, Fibe has been downloaded over 20 million times, distributing more than 5.7 million loans. 

 

Amdocs provides enterprise software that facilitates communications and project management. Its SaaS products offer solutions for payment management, data entry and document generation. Amdocs also infuses many of its products with generative AI features that further increase usability and provide automation features.

 

Peppermint Robotics develops autonomous systems for use in commercial and industrial applications. Its systems come equipped with lidar and ultrasonic sensors to map its surroundings and use its vacuum and mopping features accordingly. Peppermint Robotics launched in 2019 and has already entered several international markets.

Bonzai is an adtech startup that uses its platform to help media owners earn more revenue. Its platform provides companies with web design templates that feature strategic ad placement and can lead to more user engagement. Bonzai also provides an analytics platform that tracks engagement and can automate ad campaigns. 

 

Devourin develops restaurant software that runs on mobile phones and its proprietary hardware. The company’s hardware includes point-of-sale systems that process payments, facilitate reservations and schedule employees, among other features.
