Supervise controls team leaders and engineers across multiple automation projects. Manage resources, review PLC, HMI, electrical control designs and software, resolve escalated technical issues, monitor schedules and engineering hours, and maintain documentation, backups, and coding standards. Coordinate with mechanical, robotics, software, and project management teams while supporting customer reviews and international commissioning.

Leads concept and detailed mechanical design for automated assembly, testing, inspection, and manufacturing equipment used in automotive production. Reviews models, drawings, and BOMs; selects mechanical components; performs cycle-time, feasibility, and tolerance checks; and leads customer design reviews. Coordinates with manufacturing, controls, and project teams to deliver safe, reliable, maintainable machines while guiding mechanical designers and ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

Leads electrical controls and PLC activities for automated machinery from design through commissioning and customer acceptance. Develops control architectures, programs and debugs PLC/HMI systems, integrates industrial devices and networks, troubleshoots machine performance, supports FAT and SAT activities, and mentors controls engineers. Provides commissioning support for automotive production customers.

Develop LabVIEW-based test, measurement, data acquisition, traceability, and diagnostic applications for automated automotive machines. Integrate PLCs, instruments, NI DAQ devices, CAN/LIN systems, scanners, databases, and MES platforms. Create test sequences, operator interfaces, reports, and data logging solutions; troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues; and support machine validation, commissioning, and customer acceptance. Maintain documentation, source code, and version control while collaborating with Controls, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering teams.
