Design, develop, document, and test embedded software for safety-critical highway and automotive applications. Responsibilities include creating software and system test plans, testing embedded code, documenting work according to APQP standards, developing new products, collaborating with hardware and software engineers, supporting quotes, and interfacing with customers. The role requires strong C and C++ skills, embedded development experience, debugging, emulation, CAN, UDS, bootloader, and automotive cybersecurity knowledge.

Supports mechanical product design and CAD workflow development, including concept design, engineering calculations, simulations, tolerance stack-ups, tooling reviews, prototype builds, product trials, testing, and validation. Collaborates with distributed engineering teams, customers, suppliers, and laboratories to deliver subsystem and product designs within project, architectural, and hardware constraints.

Provides advanced quality assurance and inspection support across manufacturing, supplier, customer, and testing activities. Reviews quality documentation, analyzes trends, investigates nonconformances, supports corrective actions, develops inspection plans, guides inspectors, conducts audits, performs supplier and customer quality reviews, and inspects complex assemblies and components. Requires expertise in quality management systems, engineering drawings, CMM operation, GD&T, supplier audits, and customer or third-party communication.

Plans and maintains project schedules covering production, design, purchasing, manufacturing, and customer commitments. Analyzes risks, conflicts, critical paths, costs, budgets, revenue forecasts, and earned value performance. Supports project setup, customer presentations, action-item tracking, project-plan updates, and cross-functional follow-up. Requires proficiency with Microsoft Project or Primavera, strong analytical and communication skills, project management knowledge, and familiarity with plastic molding and stamping processes.

Manage industrial relations, union engagement, employee grievances, disciplinary proceedings, domestic enquiries, labour-law compliance, contract labour oversight, statutory records, audits, and labour disputes. Coordinate with authorities, legal consultants, advocates, and unions while supporting wage settlements, legal cases, conciliation, court matters, corrective actions, and MIS reporting at a manufacturing plant.
