Design, configure, test, commission, and support continuous and batch process control systems (PLCs, HMI, SCADA). Perform full project lifecycle from specifications through startup and training, troubleshoot control systems and instrumentation, configure historians/databases and thin-client server apps, apply ISA S88/S95 and GxP/21 CFR standards, and support virtual server-based control architectures and network topologies.

Provide 24/7 support and troubleshooting for Rockwell automation platforms (PLC, HMI, SCADA) across F&B, pharma and CPG. Maintain and configure FactoryTalk suite, RSLogix/Studio5000, OPC UA/DA, SQL Server and Windows Server; manage historian, asset centre and reporting tools; support virtualization and basic networking; collaborate with clients and internal teams.

Design, deploy, test, commission, and maintain control system projects. Develop/modify design documentation, perform PLC/HMI/SCADA bench testing, support onsite and remote startups, coordinate installation QA/QC, and provide status updates to management and clients. Travel to client sites as needed (30-50%).

Lead and grow a controls engineering team to design, implement, and commission integrated electrical and control systems. Oversee PLC/HMI/SCADA development, specify instrumentation and control hardware, manage budgets/schedules, support client relationships, and drive P&L while mentoring engineers.

Develop and produce estimates and proposals for industrial automation projects by reviewing RFPs, drawings, and specs; quantify labor, materials, travel, and time; collaborate with engineers and PMs; maintain cost databases and prepare reports; improve estimating methods and standards.
