Job Summary:
Responsible for general accounting work required to maintain the department’s general ledger. Performs financial analysis of the department’s chart of accounts and financial statements by identifying and analyzing variances.Key Responsibilities:
Analyzes, records and reports accounting transactions in a timely manner. Prepares general ledger entries and account reconciliations. Responds to inquiries received from management, internal and external auditors, Sarbanes-Oxley audit group and others regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Experience:
Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required. Qualifications
• Lead the month-end close process for CMI, IGAAP reporting, and ABO submissions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with corporate reporting requirements.
• Managing and support the Internal, Statutory, Tax, Transfer Pricing and GST audits.
• Perform detailed analysis of monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) accounts at service line level, identify variances, and drive corrective actions. Ensure appropriate accounting entries and adjustments are recorded in line with accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage and review the monthly TDS health check process and oversee the timely and accurate filing of quarterly TDS returns to ensure full tax compliance and adherence to statutory requirements.
• Prepare and support tax-related deliverables, including Advance Tax computations, annual tax provisions, and deferred tax calculations for CS BCs
• Serve as a key finance partner to the Business Unit Operations teams, providing financial insights, guidance, and decision support for day-to-day operational activities and business initiatives.
• Review and monitor key balance sheet accounts (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and others), ensuring timely reconciliation and resolution of outstanding items. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to investigate discrepancies and drive effective closure of open issues.
