The Engagement Support Services Specialist will concentrate on completing a wide variety of tasks to assist teams from multiple practices and industries within the Firm. Specialists will work within a team with a strong service culture that ensures delivery of accurate, timely, and quality-driven service to audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management practice areas and their clients. Our team is growing and needs ambitious students, graduates, and experienced professionals eager to propel their careers forward.
Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Providing support to internal teams within the Firm using a service mindset with a sense of urgency, while maintaining accuracy and having pride in your work
- Routing and processing internal team requests; reviewing peer work and completion processes
- Interacting with both in-office and remote staff, including domestic and international groups on various time zones
- Effectively partnering with engagement teams to clarify inquiries, address needs, and set clear expectations related to task processing
- Resolving problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved or complex problems
- Assisting with special projects as needed, including reporting and data research, deliverable formatting and editing, process design, and additional tasks as assigned
- Maintaining an environment of continuous learning for yourself and others by completing all training related to client requests, supporting peers in their learning, and enhancing task training resources whenever possible, while ensuring alignment with subject matter experts
The qualifications:
- Graduate (BCom), Post-Graduate (MCom) / Freshers can also apply.
- 0 to 6 months’ experience with a focus on accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of GAAP would be a plus, but is not required
- Think analytically to respond to complex inquiries
- Ability to identify and resolve audit, tax, and other accounting issues
- Highly motivated and take ownership of personal and professional growth and development
- English proficiency in written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Ability to use a variety of resources to learn new tasks
- Proofreading and attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Ability to easily adapt to changes and challenges
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat is a plus
- Capacity to work within a team environment and assist peers as needed
- Some overtime and weekend work might be required

This is a non-exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week. This position may require travel.
