Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs routine maintenance tasks and provides system support for operating environment components such as databases, operating systems, network interfaces, storage systems, servers, and associated hardware
- Performs upgrades of databases such as adding new structures or elements & provides use of data access tools and techniques to enable information access by business users
- Deploys patches and patching bundles for operating system, databases, and servers as per the recommended frequency
- Codes, edits, and installs stored procedures and functions for accessing, maintaining, and populating databases
- Executes backup and disaster recovery SOPs for all operating environment components as per defined schedule
- Administers the set-up of new profiles, creates and updates access permissions and maintains user accounts for enterprise systems
- Ensures operating environment readiness for new system or application installation or migration by coordinating between vendors, and infrastructure team, and conducting defined tests
- Acts as Systems Administrator for various enterprise applications by addressing system problems and enhancing system functionality
- Monitors, compiles, and reports statistical data and trends relating to space, capacity utilization, server load distribution, performance metrics, service level compliance, DBMS and other operational parameters
- Makes appropriate modifications on client machines to facilitate the upgrades including upgrades to the database software, operating system, and adjustments to network related items
- Researches and analyzes the various product and service codes, standardizes product and service codes and assigns customer codes to a standardized list of products and services
- Researches issues and data discrepancies and facilitate process changes (internal and external) to ensure data integrity and quality
- Provides and/or coordinates training sessions and technical support for prospective, new and existing users
- Participates in programming and testing of software changes and coordinates the development of supporting documentation and user training
- Supports and complies with company's policies pertaining to HIPAA, ensures the integrity and safeguards protected health information (PHI)
- Establishes audit objectives and devises audit plans to ensure continued data integrity and security in our applications systems and assists in system audit responses
- Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the business intelligence application to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Configure user access, security settings, and system parameters within the BI tool.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates or patches.
- Work with lead admins in addressing identified vulnerabilities.
- Screen all incoming Change Request and plan for maintenance, testing & Sign off.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand BI requirements and provide technical support as needed.
- Assist in managing Windows and Linux infrastructure components as needed.
- Help with on-call support, Request queue management, incident resolution and maintenance activities during business off-hours.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing technical expertise on BI tools and infrastructure.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-3 years of IT experience with a focus on business intelligence tools.
- Proficiency in at least one business intelligence tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects).
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
- Experience with data visualization, data warehousing, or ETL processes.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.

- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional
- ITIL, ITSM Certifications
WORK EXPERIENCE:
0-2 years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in application support or system/application/database administration.
