The AI Engineer (n8n) will be responsible for designing, integrating, and automating business processed using AI agents, workflows and data pipelines, primarily using the n8n platform. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Job requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as an AI Engineer, AI and Automation Engineer, or similar role.
- Proven hands-on experience with the n8n automation platform, LLMs, Vector DBs,
Postgres, etc.
- Strong knowledge of data integration and workflow automation.
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and various automation tools.
- Familiarity with on-premise deployments and/or DevOps practices is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively as an offshore team member within a distributed organization.
Role Description
- Lead the development, refinement and management of workflows utilizing n8n, LLMs,
custom ML modelling, vector DBs, Postgres, python scripts and so on.
- Good command on RAG pipelines and Agentic RAG systems
- Mastery in Python and SQL
- Experienced working with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to
understand automation requirements..
- Create and maintain technical documentation all solutions.
- Foster clear and proactive communication with local and global teams to ensure seamless
project delivery.
RELATIONSHIIPS, FREQUENCY OF INTERACTION:
Internal
(interaction within the organization)
- Daily collaboration with Data & AI team members for requirements gathering and solution delivery.
- Regular updates to project managers and technical leads on automation progress and challenges.
- Weekly alignment meetings with cross-functional project teams.
External
- Ad-hoc communication with technology vendors and platform support for troubleshooting and optimization.
- Frequent Client interactions for requirement clarification and deployment support, as needed.
