Provide pre-sales solution design and technical support for enterprise customers across fixed data, mobility, cloud, security and data center solutions. Support sales to identify and close opportunities, develop technical proposals, validate feasibility, collaborate with partners, and support delivery of complex solutions while maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies.
Airtel Kenya wishes to recruit for the role of Solution Specialist within Airtel Business function. The role holder will be responsible for identifying customer needs and designing innovative technology solutions that address business challenges, support revenue growth, and enhance customer experience across Airtel Business products and services.
ResponsibilitiesThe role-holder duties will include but not be limited to:
- Provide pre-sales solution design support for enterprise customers across fixed data networks, business mobility, cloud, security and value-added solutions.
- Support sales teams in identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities across the Airtel Business portfolio.
- Develop high-quality technical proposals and presentations tailored to customer business requirements.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders on Airtel Business solutions and capabilities.
- Ensure solution designs are technically validated, operationally feasible, and capable of meeting agreed service level commitments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and technology partners to deliver innovative customer solutions.
- Support project delivery activities for complex or non-standard customer solutions, ensuring effective stakeholder management and successful implementation.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends, including SD-WAN, Security, Cloud, IoT, Collaboration and Data Centre solutions.
- Contribute to the Bid Management and Knowledge Repository to improve proposal quality and delivery efficiency.
- Drive customer satisfaction through the consistent delivery of quality and innovative solutions
Qualifications, Competencies and Behaviors required
- Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical field.
- Professional certifications in networking, cloud, project management or service management will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in telecommunications, ICT, technology solutions or customer-facing technical environments.
- Good understanding of enterprise technologies including Fixed Connectivity, SD-WAN, Cloud, Security, Data Centre, Collaboration and IoT solutions.
- Ability to engage and partner with customers at a detailed technical level.
- Strong proposal development, solution architecture and technical documentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer-facing skills.
- Agile, innovative and results-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative team player with a strong customer service orientation.
