Job Summary
As the Lobby Reception Specialist (Lead) within the Lobby Reception team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, providing training and support to the team. You play a crucial role in managing guest services across the Lobby Reception and Conference Center, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all.
Job responsibilities
- Coordinate employee/visitor needs prior to arrival and communicate changes to the team.
- Welcome and register guests in accordance with building/security procedures.
- Act as a 'Culture Carrier' per Global Amenity Services brand standards.
- Build relationships with colleagues, meeting planners, and building personnel.
- Provide on-the-spot feedback for customer complaints and handle escalations.
- Stay informed about building events and meetings in Amenity spaces.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information in the visitor registration system.
- Adhere to operational standards for guests and employees.
- Be the first point of contact for general inquiries via telephone and email.
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free reception area.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports, MIS, and guest history.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years' experience in a high-end reception or management role.
- Neat appearance and ability to present a polished image.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of EMS booking system
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (fax machines, printers).
- Good time management skills.
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
- Ability to contribute positively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts covering Lobby Reception hours and locations.
