What You’ll Be Doing:
Position summary
- Work with IT Quality Assurance (QA) Leadership to achieve company goals
- Authorship and maintenance of functional test cases
- Creation, and execution of test cases
- Defect Management to include defect creation, interacting with developers for clarification and resolution
- Participation in full SDLC as a member of a Scrum team attending daily standups and other required meetings
- Work with the Systems Analysts and Developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality interface
- Assist on best practices for testing
- Develop and execute test cases
- Other duties as assigned
Essential functions
- 3-6 years Quality Assurance experience
- Experience with various EDI transactions - 835,837, 834, 820, 276/277, 270/271, 999/997
- Experience with EDI translator tools (Edifecs)
- Experience with data loading, verifying and troubleshooting various file formats
- Comfortable with SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, Access)
- Basic data manipulation/creation skills
- Healthcare experience – preferably TPA experience
- Ability to effectively work with internal and external team members
- Excellent communication skills
