As a part of our latest transformation, we are searching for a Analytics Consultant - Business Intelligence/Reporting. You will be responsible for the successful completion of assigned client implementation project activities of Mitratech’s robust and comprehensive enterprise software. These implementation project activities include configuration of software, testing, and go-live support for client. As a Analytics Analyst, you will work under the direction of the engagement Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Translates report requirements created by the Services Team into efficient data retrieval strategies (SQL queries, stored procedures) to be used by Report Developers.
- Participate in report requirement design sessions with clients and internal Professional Service teams. Meets regularly to get periodic task updates and clarify questions.
- Ability to translate customer requests to technical specifications and to code.
- Works with Clients to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems specifically to business intelligence and data retrieval questions.
- Create and present designs, solutions, and demos to audiences including the Leadership team.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of Database skills in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (required)
- 3+ years of Proficiency with relational databases, transactional schemas and star schemas
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret and communicate data insights.
- Good knowledge with Oracle PL/SQL and MSSQL (T-SQL) queries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project
- Familiarity in architecting, designing and implementing Business Objects tools; designing and developing business analytics reporting solutions using Business Objects
- Expertise in installing, configuring, deployment and maintenance of SAP Business Objects applications using Desktop Intelligence, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Spotfire Tipco
- Experience with database performance tuning
- Basic knowledge of data visualization best practices.
- Basic JAVA skills to adjust and modify existing code
- Knowledge of Visio or Project and HTML
- Knowledge of database client software (i.e. TOAD, SQL+, SQL Developer)

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with the ability to work both within a team and independently (required)
- Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, clients and prospects
- Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
- Ability to handle confidential client and company information
- Flexibility to accept out-of-town travel assignments of varying duration
Desired Technical Skills:
- Create and enhance reports in SAP Business Objects (WebI, scheduling, formatting, simple formulas).
- Build and maintain Sisense dashboards including filters, drilldowns, widgets, and basic data models (ElastiCubes).
- Experience with various ETL tools such as Pentaho or Informatica
