Who You’ll Work With:

The Bernstein Private Wealth Management Marketing team creates and manages all Private Wealth-specific content, digital and social campaigns, and sales enablement efforts. The team is responsible for the execution of marketing efforts to support business line objectives. PWM Marketing works hand-in-hand with Senior Private Wealth Leadership to ensure that Marketing is consistently driving revenue growth and brand awareness in the US HNW and UHNW markets for Bernstein. Activities to support these objectives include campaign management, Advisor social media activation, digital advertising, content and social media management, and PR.

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a Social Media Associate to help grow our brand and create strong online communities across our social media platforms. The Social Media Associate will report to the Social Media Director and will be responsible for creating, posting, and managing social media content across Instagram, LinkedIn,  Meta, and YouTube to engage users and build a connection between our company and our audience. The right person will also work closely with our data and analytics team to gather and analyze social media data to improve our campaigns. Additionally, they will be responsible for running our employee social media advocacy program through Hearsay Social.

A successful candidate will approach every project with a team mentality and create productive working partnerships across PWM departments, while maintaining accountability to key business stakeholders. The candidate should approach every business development conversation through a lens of “what role can social media play here?” The ability to multi-task and nimbly switch gears on a day-to-day basis is crucial to this role.

What We’re Looking For:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Employee Advocacy Program
    • Manage relationship with Hearsay account team, alongside AB team leads
    • Maintain and update training materials and Brainshark training for employees as needed
    • Assist in leading advisor training on the platform and help advisors build their brand through social media
    • Act as point of contact for all questions related to Hearsay across PWM
    • Post all content to Hearsay content library and ensure it is always up to date with both national content and regional event content
  • Bernstein Private Wealth social media channels
    • Manage and oversee organic social media content creation
    • Work with social media copywriter and designer to create all social media copy and graphics
    • Post all content via our Social scheduling platform
    • Maintain and update social media calendar
    • Work with data team to measure the success of every social media campaign
    • Ensure clarity around industry benchmarks and be aware of competitor insights
    • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies
    • Increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our www.bernstein.com website
    • Expand our audience/network online
    • Understand financial services rules and regulations

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Experience using social media for brand awareness and engagement
  • Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media best practices
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Experience with different HNW audiences a plus
  • Experience with paid social media a plus but not required
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Great leadership skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and brings an understanding of how to manage key stakeholders to deliver critical business results
  • Team mentality and experience working in a cross-functional environment
