Job Description: Application DeveloperPosition Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Application Developer to design and develop customizations and extensions within IFS Cloud. The ideal candidate will work with various development tools and frameworks, focusing on creating effective integrations, troubleshooting application issues, and supporting continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Customization and Extension Development: Design and develop customizations and extensions in IFS Cloud, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Framework Utilization: Work extensively with Aurena, projections, lobbies, and PL/SQL development to enhance application functionality.
Integration Development: Build and support integrations, APIs, and data flows to facilitate seamless communication between systems.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve application issues and performance challenges, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Deployment Support: Assist in deployments, upgrades, and continuous improvements, maintaining high standards of quality.
Technical Guidance: Provide technical support and guidance to the development team during build and deployment cycles, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, functional consultants, and IT teams to gather requirements, align on goals, and deliver effective technical solutions.
User and Role Administration: Manage user and roles administration within IFS Cloud, ensuring proper access controls and security measures.
Skills & Experience
Hands-On Experience: Proven experience with IFS Cloud and IFS Applications development, demonstrating a strong understanding of the platform.
PL/SQL Knowledge: Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle databases, with the ability to write efficient queries and scripts.
Development Framework Familiarity: Experience with IFS Developer Studio and the Aurena framework for application development.
Integration Skills: Familiarity with REST APIs, integrations, and middleware technologies to facilitate smooth data exchange.
CI/CD Exposure: Exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure.
