Summary: As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also participate in testing and troubleshooting to guarantee that the applications function seamlessly within the business environment, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: • Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines using PySpark and SQL in Databricks to handle large-scale data transformations and batch/streaming workloads. • Design and Implement ETL Processes by leveraging Databricks notebooks, Delta Lake, and PySpark -based custom scripts for data ingestion and curation. • Collaborate with Data Analysts and Stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver accurate, performant, and reusable data solutions. • Maintain and Monitor Job Performance, identify bottlenecks and apply tuning techniques to improve pipeline efficiency on the Databricks platform. ________________________________________ Professional & Technical Skills : • Experience in application development and deployment in Azure environments. • Proficient in building scalable, distributed data pipelines using PySpark and Databricks with an understanding of DataFrame APIs, and Spark optimization techniques. • Experience on PySpark for scripting, data manipulation, and integrating third-party libraries within data engineering workflows. • Expertise in SQL for data extraction, transformation, joins, and performance tuning across relational and distributed data stores. • Experience on working with Azure Data Lake Storage(ADLS). • Good understanding of Data warehousing/ ETL concepts. • Good to have: experience in Scala. • Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes. • Best practices in CI/CD, code versioning (Git), and DevOps for data projects. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Analytics Services. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
