Job Description – Senior ServiceNow Architect / Developer (9–12 Years)Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Architect/Developer with 9–12 years of hands-on expertise in ServiceNow development, architecture, and platform optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable solutions, leading development activities, driving integrations, and ensuring adherence to best practices across multiple ServiceNow modules.
Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and design scalable, enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and other modules.
Lead end-to-end development of custom applications and workflows using ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and JavaScript-based scripting.
Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications and solution designs.
Ensure platform governance, security, performance tuning, and compliance with best practices.
Conduct code reviews, guide junior developers, and contribute to the definition of coding and architectural standards.
Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow releases and recommend platform enhancements proactively.
Support platform upgrades, patching activities, and troubleshoot complex issues across modules.
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
9–12 years of proven experience in ServiceNow development and architecture.
Strong hands-on expertise with:
JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs, and data modeling
ACLs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies
Extensive experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, JDBC, LDAP, etc.).
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.
Experience working in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD environments.
Exposure to GRC, PCI, Network Security, Risk Management, or Cybersecurity.
Experience designing secure and compliant ServiceNow applications.
Previous leadership experience in mentoring, solutioning, or architectural roles.
