Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous interaction with different teams to maintain system stability and support business continuity through effective problem-solving and timely interventions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and performance through innovative approaches.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address critical issues impacting business operations.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex software issues.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining enterprise-level business intelligence and data integration systems.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand system dependencies and deliver effective solutions.
- Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading processes within business intelligence environments.
- Excellent communication skills to document issues and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
