Assistant Marketing Manager – Performance, Automation & CRM Operations
Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Marketing Manager to support our digital marketing, lead management, and CRM operations. This role is suited for someone with strong performance marketing skills and hands-on experience managing B2B marketing funnels, automation tools, and paid campaigns. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality lead flow, clean data practices, and seamless collaboration with the sales team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Performance & Paid Marketing
- Manage Google Ads (Search, Display, Video) and paid social campaigns on LinkedIn and Meta.
- Execute A/B testing, optimize campaigns, and ensure ROI-focused performance.
- Lead Management & Database Operations
- Oversee lead capture, qualification, routing, and database hygiene.
- Maintain segmented, clean marketing lists and support nurture email flows.
- Sales Team Collaboration
- Align MQL/SQL definitions and support smooth lead handoff processes.
- Provide campaign insights and lead context to support sales follow-up.
- HubSpot CRM & Marketing Automation
- Manage HubSpot workflows, scoring, forms, landing pages, and email campaigns.
- Ensure CRM data integrity and generate funnel and performance reports.
- Automation, Systems & Integrations
- Build automation workflows using Airtable, Zapier, or similar tools.
- Support integrations between ads, forms, CRM platforms, and operational tools.
- Website & Creative Support (Nice to Have)
- Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or Unbounce for landing pages and forms.
- Ability to create basic visuals using Canva for campaigns (added advantage).
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business Management, or IT required; MBA is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, with focus on performance, CRM, or demand generation.
- Mandatory experience in B2B marketing.
- Background in Tech, SaaS, or Product Marketing is an added advantage.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and paid performance channels.
- Strong working knowledge of HubSpot (marketing automation + CRM).
- Experience using automation tools like Airtable, Zapier, Make.com or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret funnel and campaign insights.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Working Conditions
- Work Arrangement: Remote/ hybrid, based in India.
- Reporting Structure: Reports to the Senior Marketing Manager.
- Work Hours: Must have a 2–3 hour overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) to facilitate collaboration with North American teams and leadership.
- Collaboration: Regular interaction with cross-functional teams across Canada and India.
