Role: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Macau,SAR
Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will provide direct support to the Senior Project Manager and Project Managers in the coordination, monitoring, and delivery of mall A&A, Tenancy, and F&B projects. This is a developmental role focused on learning project management best practices while contributing to project success.
Planning & Execution:
- Assist in developing and updating project plans and schedules.
- Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support the maintenance of the master programme in MS Project.
Coordination
- Assist with internal and external stakeholder coordination (Mall Management, consultants, contractors).
- Help monitor the tendering process and prepare tender-related documentation.
- Support permit and license applications with Macau authorities.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and records.
- Assist in budget tracking and cost monitoring.
- Help coordinate site activities and ensure smooth handover of completed projects.
- Support construction management activities and on-site coordination.
Compliance & Safety
- Support compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Assist in risk identification and mitigation.
Additional Focus Areas
- Provide on-ground support for F&B project delivery.
- Prepare regular progress reports and status updates.
- Degree in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Building science or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in managing A&A, retail/F&B/mall projects in Macau
- Strong knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Proven experience leading small to medium-sized construction projects of low to medium complexity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English required.
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Proficiency in MS Project.
