Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Process Lead plays a key role in managing and executing the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable process. This position involves ensuring timely billing, cash application, collections, and reconciliation activities while supporting process improvements and maintaining high data accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounts receivable procedures, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
2.Process timely and accurate cash application to customer accounts.
3.Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
4.Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
5.Assist in preparing aging reports and collections reports for management.
6.Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing issues and disputes.
7.Assist in preparation of key metrics.
8.Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
9.Support audit and compliance requirements related to AR processes.
10.Assist in month-end closing activities related to receivables.
11.Monitor and maintain accurate records of customer payments and account statuses.
Team:
This role will be setup in the Hillenbrand Global shared service Organization – Coimbatore, India supporting Accounts Receivable within Hillenbrand. This role will have the opportunity to work with and learn from teams that are geographically diverse (Asia, Europe, and North America)
Basic Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field.
2.3+ years of proven experience in accounts receivable/accounting.
3.Good accounting knowledge and procedures.
4.Excellent communication skills.
5.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other financial software, especially excel. 6.Strong organizational and time management skills.
7.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
