Associate Counsel
Our legal team reviews contracts , advises the firm on matters of legal consequence, and proactively assesses and manages the firm's risk exposure . The legal team is responsible for staying abreast of le gal developments impacting the firm on a global basis and then advising the firm based on the changing legal landscape.
What You'll Do

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, including technology agreements.

• Coordinate with internal teams on interdisciplinary initiatives such as vendor due
  diligence.
• Respond to issues arise in diverse matters affecting day-to- day business
  operations by assisting, advising , investigating , researching , and resolving l egal matters .
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in privacy laws of the APAC region and guide various functions within the organization.
• Collaborate with others on the legal team and within ZS when subject matter exp ertise is required .
• Ensure the firm's compliance with legal policies , state and federal laws,
  and regulations.
• Identify potential legal issues related to proposed transactions.
• Participate in structuring and negotiating transactions and set procedures to reduce
  risk.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Law ( LL.B or LL.M) with strong academic
  background required .
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in law firm or industry.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Motivation, personal initiative, and strong team/interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytic skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines and work
  independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiasm for global collaboration and Experience negotiating agreements.

Travel is a requirement at ZS for client facing ZSers; business needs of your project and client are the priority. While some projects may be local, all client-facing ZSers should be prepared to travel as needed.
