Roles and Responsibilities
- Primary job responsibility is to provide cloud support to manage AWS cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration, execution of scripting and monitoring automation.
- Assess solution architecture and enable issue resolution for cloud infrastructure by working closely with application and other teams.
- Reviewing system and application logs, looking for any potential issues and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
- Cloud user management, security, capacity, monitoring and configuring application development tools.
- Engineer & automate templates for deploying IaaS, PaaS/server less solutions by using Infrastructure as a code and Configuration as a code.
- Standardize offerings to achieve cost optimizations and efficiencies.
- Provide on call support on rotational basis
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of proven, hands on experience working in a technical environment.
- 1 years of AWS experience is mandatory.
- The candidate should have an excellent understanding of AWS Cloud Services like EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, EBS, EFS, VPC, ELB, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Lambda, DynamoDB, Route 53, SES etc.
- Hands-on experience EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, EBS, EFS, VPC, ELB, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch.
- Experience in automation / configuration management using either Ansible or terraform, Jenkins, bitbucket, CPM
- Good understanding of distributed systems and strong understanding of designing highly available, high performance, fault-tolerant distributed software solutions.
- Well experience with Linux or Windows operating system.
- Identifying and resolve environment issues (connection issues/firewall issues / Linux issues etc.)
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and ready to learn additional technologies (self-starter)
- Experience in any scripting (Bash, Python,powershell) language
- Experience in setting up Jenkins pipelines, automated deployments, and code analysis tool integration
- Strong troubleshooting experience on network,infra,OS is mandatory.
- Experience in modern cloud monitoring and alerting tools (Cloud Watch, Data Dog etc)
- Broad in-depth understanding for onboarding applications onto IaaS, PaaS /Server less and SaaS offerings, deployment automation, DevOps, scripting, containers and Cloud Governance.
- AWS solution architect certifications is a huge plus.
- Strong communication, presentation, & documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and a commitment to delivering within timelines.
