Lead Development Manager
The Lead Development Manager India is responsible for managing the analysis, programming and configuration of IT Systems Software. This job advises developers on best methods of software development and code creation. Working with the leadership team, this job provides project leadership for software development activities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Acts as a liaison for the application development and information technology teams and determines the most effective solution and/or enhancement based on customer needs.
- Manages the identification of business needs, conducts requirements gathering, and defines scope and objectives for the IT System.
- Monitors development work to make sure resulting software meets established goals.
- Manages the configuration, customization, diagnosis and enhancements of operating systems software.
- Advises the development and implementation of new products, processes and operational plans.
- Oversees training of users on new or modified software.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams within the information technology department and clarifies customer requirements.
- Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

Lead Engineer – Client Services Technology - Job Description
Nuveen is seeking a Lead Engineer – Client Services Technology. Reporting to the Client Technology lead, the role is responsible for driving the end to end product and data engineering capabilities across Client Reporting, Workflow Automation and Client Portal to support the growth and transformation of the business.
In building and setting up a world class engineering delivery capability, the Lead Engineer will be a technology change agent in the organisation, and will drive the steps to build our agile and best in class teams across the globe. Special focus will be in identifying automation opportunities and build out applications and processes improving operational efficiency, using industry best practices, as well as aligning these to enterprise services.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
Tech and Data
- Develop and implement an ambitious technology automation strategy and roadmap leveraging new technologies and innovation to deliver services globally
- Responsible for strategic leadership of product and data engineering and delivery execution for technology and data solutions across the publics and private markets portfolios
- Lead Automation engineering teams globally, Proficient in one or more areas including SQL, ETL Platforms, Reporting Platforms, Java, Unqork, AWS Services, Snowflake.
- Knowledge of Data Engineering Practices to adhere to Enterprise Data Strategy principles.
- Working with our product teams create and manage a best in class roadmap which drives the leverage of new technologies with data at the core supporting client outcomes – custom built and Protech solutions
- In partnership with the Technology Product Leads, generate excitement and buy-in for the technology and data outcomes quickly, addressing barriers to success
- As part of roadmap inform the build and partner decisions, and ensure these are funded, supported to enhance client deliverables and scale.
- Partner with colleagues across the enterprise and with external vendors to delivery best in class solutions - measuring success in terms of adoption, usage, improvements and industry recognition.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

- Proficient in multiple infrastructure, cloud, mobile and network technologies
