Job Description
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, the Graphic Designer must possess strong interpersonal skills, be a conceptual thinker, creative, articulate, and capable of understanding and conveying a variety of concepts. Outstanding execution and organization skills combined with excellent judgment and exemplary ethics and values are imperative. Under supervision, the Graphic Designer will provide leverage across the following responsibilities:
- Marketing and Presentation Support: Assist investment professionals with formatting, design, and visual presentation aspects of marketing materials and presentations in conformance with firm branding standards. This includes, but is not limited to, PowerPoint decks, white papers, factsheets, RFPs, advertisements, and newsletters.
- Dynamic and Graphics-Intensive Initiatives: Provide support with other dynamic content and graphics-intensive initiatives, such as logos, employee photos, and special conceptual design projects.
- Design: Provide ongoing support to the Creative Director, Events on content for external events and assist the Design and Media Specialist with bespoke design initiatives.
- Workflow Coordination: Provide backup assistance for the Creative Lead Coordinator with the work requests queue and additional workflow coordination.
- Extended Creative Projects: Over time, the Graphic Designer may additionally provide support on other dynamic content and graphics-intensive initiatives, such as podcasts, animation, and videos.
QualificationsEducation:
- College degree in Graphics Design or a related degree is preferred
- 2-4 years of minimum work experience, preferably in the Financial Services industry
Experience Required:Highly experienced in:
- Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (i.e., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). After Effects, Premiere, Audition and Adobe XD.
- Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- PowerPoint and MS Word template design and standardization best-practices preferred
- HTML or other coding experience preferred
- Acrobat Pro
