Job Title: Associate HR Business Partner

Location: Waking Tree Ventures Manufacturing unit, SEEPZ

Job Overview:

The Associate HRBP will oversee HR operations with a primary focus on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, and managing contractors and contract employees. This role involves close collaboration with the Production Unit Head and reporting to the Central HR Manager to ensure smooth HR processes and compliance within the SEEPZ unit.

Requirements

Recruitment:

  • Partner with hiring managers to recruit, onboard, and retain talent across all levels.
  • Build and maintain a resume bank for future recruitment needs.
  • Run employee referral programs in line with company policy to ensure efficient and timely hiring.

Onboarding and Management of Contract Employees:

  • Verify documentation, track attendance, and ensure contract workers meet all employment criteria
  • Support hiring managers by fulfilling workforce needs with contract staff maintaining thorough documentation and compliance checks.
  • Coordinate with the production unit head and contactors for  invoice processing by contractors upon approval.

Employee Onboarding:

  • Complete all necessary documentation for new hires and introduce them to process policies and conduct orientation for new employees, including training on HRMS software.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to SEEPZ-specific labor laws, safety regulations, and HR policies.
  • Collaborate with the admin team to monitor occupational health and safety standards within the workplace

HR Operations:

  • Oversee core HR functions such as attendance management, payroll coordination, and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Reconcile all attendance data monthly and share it with the central payroll team.
  • Update the HRMS and payroll software as needed to support central HR in maintaining accurate MIS records.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives tailored to manufacturing staff.
  • Address concerns and grievances promptly to foster a positive work environment.
