Your Role :
- Associate Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing, documenting solutions and root cause analysis for medium complexity customer issues, using a customer centered approach.
- Collaborate with other offices worldwide to provide first class support for mission-critical customers.
- Technical Excellent diagnostic (Troubleshooting) Skills and problem-solving skills
- Experience with any PDM/PLM/CAD (e.g. PTC WindChill, Catia, SolidWorks, MatrixOne, etc.) or other enterprise systems is a plus

- The Support Services organization is responsible for providing a seamless PTC experience to our customers to achieve their desired outcomes and accelerate customers’ success. Members of the Support Services organization combine strong Product and Cloud expertise with excellent customer technique to meet and even exceed customer expectations.
Your Team
- You will be a part of highly diverse PTC Support Services Delivery Team which works for Multiple customers across the Globe.
Your Day-to-Day
- Lead execution and client communication for critical and Enterprise-Down issues/events. Examples include (but are not limited to)
- Performance issues
- Process and execute Client requests/questions or issues:
- Enterprise Down
- Performance Issues
- Integrations Issues
- Solution to Hosting and Product problems
- Extended cloud services / Production Support - continuous improvement services such as Integration fixes
- Custom code fixes
- Small data requirement changes
- Application configuration changes
- Coordinate with various internal Teams like Infrastructure, Database
- Works on projects and provides resolutions to problems of limited to moderately complex scope and is gaining exposure to some more complex tasks within the job function. Uses judgment within defined practices
- Work with System Administrators, consultants and engineers to diagnose reported software issues
- Create and publish solutions for re-use by customers and PTC employees
- Train, mentor and participate in continual training and personal improvement as the candidate develops skills.
- This role requires in-depth technical expertise and is NOT a call center job
Must-Have Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E) in Mechnical Engineering or related field
- Experience in Windchill or any PLM software interaction with CAD data is a must.
- 2 to 6 years experience in CAD (Creo, Solidworks, Catia, UGNX, AutoCAD)- Will be an advantage
- Unix/Windows/Linux: User level with basic administration knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
