Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ownership of daily P&L reports and month-end close processes ensuring accuracy whilst tracking underlying drivers
- Analyse financial results focusing on key business drivers and movements of core metrics.
- Demonstrate and apply deep understanding of the end-to-end billing process, including revenue recognition and ledger booking, to support accurate financial reporting
- Review and update latest forecasts based on run-rate analysis and planned business activity, providing variance commentary to FP&A and senior management
- Partner with key stakeholders in Product Management, Client Services, Sales, Trading, Business Management, FP&A and Financial Control
- Prepare and present monthly revenue analysis reports to senior stakeholders across multiple products
- Own and maintain key controls to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with firm standards
- Drive process automation initiatives using tools such as LLM Suite, Alteryx, or Tableau to enhance efficiency and control quality
- Participate in strategic initiatives, business change programs, and process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Control, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, or Finance
- Professional qualification (CA, CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, or Databricks
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience working with large data sets
- Strong attention to detail and control mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Securities Services, Custody, Asset Servicing, Markets, or Financial Services.
- Knowledge of Tri-Party repo, securities lending, or margin/collateral management
- Experience working with global revenues booked across multiple entities in multiple currencies
- Knowledge of financial products, balance sheet reporting, and control frameworks.
- Exposure to process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives.
