About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our Product Management team for Hybrid Workloads — Druva’s flagship data protection product designed for on-premises and hybrid cloud environments. As an APM, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX, Sales, and Customer Success to help define and deliver innovative solutions that safeguard critical enterprise workloads like VMware, SQL, NAS, Oracle, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy Support: Collaborate with product leadership to define and refine the product roadmap for Druva Hybrid Workloads.
  • Requirements Gathering: Engage with customers, sales, support, and partners to understand user needs, workflows, and pain points.
  • Feature Definition: Translate market and customer needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Execution Support: Work closely with engineering teams during sprints; prioritize backlog, manage trade-offs, and ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer requirements in the hybrid cloud and data protection space.
  • Customer Advocacy: Represent the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Analytics & Insights: Track product adoption and usage metrics and success metrics, and generate insights to inform product decisions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Customer Success to ensure successful go-to-market launches and customer onboarding.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, Pre-Sales Engineering, or related roles in enterprise software or cloud services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Understanding of hybrid/cloud environments, enterprise IT infrastructure (VMware, NAS, SQL, Oracle, Windows/Linux Servers).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise product requirement documents (PRDs) and user stories.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work effectively across different teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Passionate about technology, user experience, and delivering customer value.
Good to Have
  • Experience with data protection, backup & disaster recovery (BDR), SaaS products, or enterprise IT solutions.
  • Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of storage, backup, or security domains.
