As an Equity Derivatives Project Manager and Business Analyst within our Equities Operations Transformation Team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives and ensuring their consistent accomplishment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute the multi-year complex risk management system migration for the Equity Derivatives business.
- Scope, elicit, analyze, and document current workflows and new business requirements related to trade capture and trade lifecycle management.
- Implement the agile methodology to drive continuous improvement with stakeholders, enhancing efficiency, control, and user experience.
- Conduct testing of new deliveries and report defects in a controlled and timely manner.
- Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Product Development, and Front Office to delve into issues and develop comprehensive solutions.
- Provide regular updates to keep stakeholders engaged and motivated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assume ownership and deliver the assigned projects with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the Equity Derivatives business, products, and front-to-back processes and system infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with the risk management system, specifically in trade capture, trade management, and lifecycles.
- Excellent business analysis, data analysis, and problem-solving skills to identify, understand, and address operational and technical issues.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust with stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Self-motivated individual capable of delivering effectively with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability in agile, design thinking, and problem-solving.
- Professional skills with JIRA, Confluence, qTest, and project management tools.
- Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- At least 7 years of experience in an investment banking environment, preferably in Middle Office / Trade Support / Project Management.
- Degree holder in Finance / Economics or other related disciplines.
- Primary Coverage,11:30 pm to 7:30 pm IST. Cross regional coverage to be provided. Ability to work stretch hours in case of business requirement.
