As a Testing Domain Specialist, analyze, design, and test integrated hardware/software systems, autonomously resolving technical issues and managing requirements.
As a Testing Domain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and testing integrated hardware and software systems to meet customer requirements. You will autonomously resolve customer trouble tickets, manage technical requirements, and develop controlled software/hardware release processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will influence solutions, contribute to project priorities, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Independently analyze and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software systems to meet customer requirements.
- Develop, test, and implement improvements and bug fixes for products and services.
- Plan and document technical requirements based on customer needs.
- Produce and manage build-controlled software and hardware releases, including updates and service packages.
- Provide informal guidance and support to new team members in job procedures and best practices.
- Engage in quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in deliverables.
- Support the emergency handling of critical issues to ensure timely customer problem resolution.
- Continuously update technical knowledge and provide training to junior support teams.
Must-Have:
- Graduate or Masters with 2- 6 years of experience in automation testing with Layer 2/Layer 3 protocol.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Spirent Test Center, Ixia, and Avalanche.
- Experience in writing automation test scripts using Python and Shell.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
Nice-To-Have:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and protocols.
- Knowledge of hardware/software documentation and change control management.
- Skills in providing training and guidance to junior team members.
- Experience in GPON
