Job Description:

Strategic Sales Leadership & Market Expansion
Drive performance and accelerate market growth across South Asia through the development of high impact business strategies. Provide direction by managing and mentoring a team of 4 Sales Managers, ensuring alignment with business goals and enabling success through coaching and performance management.
Commercial Strategy & Analytical Excellence
Lead regional forecasting, pricing strategy and profitability optimization by leveraging strong analytical capabilities. Supervise the effective use of CRM platforms (Salesforce) to drive pipeline visibility, sales performance and data driven decision making.
Market Intelligence & Customer-Centric Growth
Gather and analyse competitive intelligence, recognize new product applications and change regional trends into opportunities to support business and maintain market leadership.
Cross Functional Collaboration & Strategic Alignment
Work together closely with product management, marketing, operations and supply chain teams to ensure execution of commercial initiatives. 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Achieve financial and commercial targets within the assigned territory by managing own sales activities and market development initiatives.
  •  Contribute to strategic and tactical marketing plans by providing insights from the field that support growth in profit and market share.
  •  Maintain and grow relationships with key customers by delivering technical and commercial support; prepare customer visit reports, regular sales updates, and market intelligence.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory; document progress and actions using CRM tools such as SFDC.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and support demand planning by providing data-driven insights based on customer engagement and pipeline status.
  • Maximise sales profitability by managing pricing, costs, and commercial conditions; ensure positive cash flow through proactive management of payment terms and overdue accounts.
  • Continuously gather and analyse market intelligence to uncover competitor activities and new use cases for existing products, supporting sales strategy and product positioning.
  • Ensure “best in class” customer care by aligning support and service with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Support and collaborate with distribution partners to emphasize value-based selling and identify ways to increase profitability through differentiated product offerings.
  • Stay informed of market trends and developments to provide input that supports innovation and the development of profitable new products.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or similar
  • 15+ years sales experience in chemical applications  
  • Biocides and additives experience preferred
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
