In this unique global role, you will be part of the CDO office within the Product & Platform organization and responsible for Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Modelling, Data Engineering, Data Governance, Data Quality, and Insights using AI/ML for Western Union. This group works across business groups or multiple domains in Western Union e.g., Customer, Agents, Risk & Payments, Fraud, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, etc.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new software, maintain and improve existing software

• Ensure that software functionality is implemented with a focus on code optimization and organization

• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional and technical       teams.

• Work with a software development team and service provider in geographically distributed structured

• Knowledge of architecture design concepts, object-oriented design, and techniques

• Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver result.

Role Requirements

• 4+ years of industry experience on public cloud like AWS.

• You will have strong engineering experience engineering using Java, Scala/Python with Spark

• Working knowledge of Big Data Technologies (EMR/Cloudera, Kafka, HBase, ELK, Snowflake, etc.)
