Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience 5+ years
- Strong working experience in development with Mendix.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Mendix Studio, Mendix Studio Pro, and Mendix Runtime.
- Experience developing custom widgets and modules for Mendix.
- Experience working with databases and data modeling.
- Experience integrating Mendix applications with external systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Support to implement batch retrieval to make our application fit for big data.
- Modification of the multiselect widget to improve application performance.
- Implementation of hashdiff logic for documents to improve data load performance and enhancement of Excel export performance.
- Implementation of automated testing to verify data sets of Mendix and Snowflake for improved data consistency Knowledge of performance optimization techniques is critical for ensuring efficient gameplay.
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for effective collaboration within the development team.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Writing and reviewing great quality code
- Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project
- Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to realize it
- Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
- Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
- Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs
- Creating, understanding and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
- Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
- Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken
- Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
