Associate Staff Engineer, Veeva Network

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong working experience in Veeva Network implementation or support within Life Sciences.
• Implement and support integrations between Veeva Network and other systems (e.g., Veeva CRM, ERP, Salesforce, RIM, or external MDM platforms) using Veeva Network APIs, Informatica, MuleSoft, or other middleware tools.
• Build and manage custom rules, validation logic, and data quality workflows to ensure clean, standardized master data.
• Develop and optimize Network Integration Rules (NIRs), Data Stewardship tasks, and Match Rules to manage deduplication and data merges.
• Veeva Network Certification or equivalent hands-on project experience.
• Proficient in Veeva Network APIs (REST/SOAP) and building data integration pipelines.
• Experience with SQL, XML/JSON, data modeling, and transformation logic.
• Hands-on with middleware tools such as Informatica Cloud, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
• Familiarity with Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, and Salesforce data models is a plus.
• Experience with Veeva OpenData or Veeva Data Governance.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project environments.
• Knowledge of GxP compliance and related documentation (URS, FRS, IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Knowledge of address standardization, match & merge algorithms, and data quality frameworks.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality code
• Understanding the clients business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them in to technical design which elegantly meets the requirements
• Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers.
• Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the clients requirements.
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
• Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
• Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
