The Asst. Manager conducts machinery inspections, manages inventory, follows up on purchases, analyzes failures, and designs plant layouts to enhance production efficiency.
•Conduct Weekly inspections of all machinery, including MWD, Bunching, Extrusion, Coiling, and NPS.
• Verify spare part inventory for MWD, Buncher, Extruder, Coiling/NPS, ROB, Vision, Crimping Machine & Coax Machines.
• Raise purchase requests for any shortfall, and follow up on purchase orders.
• Conduct analysis for significant Preventive and Predictive failures before time.
•- Conduct a comprehensive study of project requirements and establish the production line setup.
•- Design and install the plant layout in accordance with the specified design.
•- Modify and install the plant layout in response to customer demands.
•- Create cell layouts and overall workplace designs that incorporate ergonomic principles, containerization strategies, error-proofing measures at the operator level, and visual management controls.
•- Calculate standard time inputs using the Global Common Standard Data (GCSD) system.
•- Perform line capacity assessments and manpower calculations for new projects.
•- Enhance line efficiency through time studies, line balancing, and process improvements.
•- Optimize space utilization by consolidating similar production lines or low-volume components.
•- Document Process Change Notes (PCN) effectively.
•- Implement engineering changes on the production line promptly and initiate cost-saving measures by integrating various setups into a single line.
