About the Role:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using industry best practices.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement automation solutions.
Improve engineer productivity through platform automation.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of IT I&O applications.
Reduce deployment complexity and time-to-market.
Design and build internal developer platforms and self-service tools.
Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of our hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and DevOps practices.
Mentor and guide junior team members to help them grow their skills and knowledge, participating in architectural reviews and technical decision-making.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience working as a Cloud Software Engineer/DevOps Engineer.
Strong knowledge of public and hybrid cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and VMWare.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
Internal tooling development experience, including API development and integration experience.
Founded knowledge of DevSecOps principles and security best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux).
Service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd).
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, DataDog, Splunk, or similar.
Observability beyond monitoring (distributed tracing).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points:
Certification in AWS or GCP.
Experience with serverless computing and cloud-native architecture.
Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
