So, what’s the role all about?
As Automation Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes. Your responsibilities will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to assess the functionality, performance, and security of our applications.
How will you make an impact?
- Building and executing test suites for distributed product deployment
- Installation and staging of product deployments in a variety of configurations to testing environments
- Build automation test suits for regression and new features. Testing UI components, Web Services, Checking data in databases, automating deployment and data generation
- Open bugs detailing relevant information in a repeatable way
- Reproduce issues and verify defect resolutions
- Be involved in new features development, provide inputs to POs and Developers on the correct behaviour of the system
- Install and Configure testing systems with latest deliveries for testing
- Interact closely with Build Engineers on the evolution of Continuous Integration and Deployment
- Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process
Have you got what it takes?
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree
- 2 - 4 years of experience in testing distributed systems with web based front end and backend web services as Automation engineer with very good test automation skills.
- Must have experience in coding of the Automation Framework (TestNG, Selenium or any other UI/Backend Framework)
- Hands on experience in programming language in any of Java
- Experience in using code versioning tools like - Git/Bitbucket/SVN
- Experience in preparing Test Plans/Test Strategies/Reports
- Hands on Test Management tools like XRay
- Database skills required with hands-on experience in SQL
- Experience with defect management and tracking tools, preferably Jira
- Experience with installing software builds/Configuration
- Experienced working on Linux and/or Unix
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be a self-motivated, rapid learner with an active interest in the latest tools, technologies and processes
- Experience working in Agile
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- ISTQB/ISEB qualifications.
- Knowledge of Actimize AIS, RCM and UDM tools
- Hands on coding experience in any software development or scripting language
- Domain knowledge - Capital Markets / Trading / Fraud Detections / Compliance
