We are looking for a highly motivated Software Test Engineer with around 4+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web/desktop/mobile applications through structured testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand product requirements and design test plans and test cases accordingly.
Perform manual and automated testing of web applications.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects.
Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.
Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Execute regression, integration, system, smoke, and performance testing.
Raise and track bugs in tools like JIRA
Participate in agile development processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience in test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Appium.
Proficient in scripting languages like JavaScript or Python.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
Good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Nice to Have:
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
ISTQB or other relevant certification.
