Job Description:
GCB 5 Role Purpose Ensure quality and reliability of applications through automated testing frameworks, particularly across integrated systems involving core banking, data platforms, and digital channels. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain automated test scripts (UI, API, integration) • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing • Validate end-to-end flows across microservices, APIs, and data pipelines • Test integrations involving core banking platforms (e.g. Avaloq) and downstream systems • Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with developers and BAs to implement shift-left testing practices • Experience testing integrated banking systems and data flows • Understanding of wealth workflows (client onboarding, transactions, portfolio updates) • Familiarity with validating data sourced from core banking systems such as Avaloq
Skills & Experience Primary: • Automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) • Programming (Java or Python) • API testing (Postman, RestAssured) Secondary: • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) • Performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
