Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in a fast paced and challenging area? This is a unique opportunity for you to work in our team to partner with the Business to provide a comprehensive view.
As an Automation Testing Analyst in our User Acceptance Testing team, you will play a crucial role in the execution and implementation of business critical strategic initiatives. You will collaborate with technology groups, business partners, project analysts/managers, and external vendor resources to plan and execute testing. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business testing function, defining strategies and approaches for User Acceptance. You will also support testing and implementation of business critical strategies, and ensure testing artifacts are updated and saved appropriately. Your role will involve incorporating process enhancements to unlock greater efficiencies and effectiveness, and supporting test deadlines while setting and stewarding sound testing methodologies.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Create robust and maintainable automation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Ensure scripts cover various test scenarios, including positive and negative cases and Execute automated test cases and analyze the results.
  • Document any defects or issues found during testing.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends, tools, and advancements in automation testing.
  • Apply this knowledge to enhance our testing processes and methodologies and Understand system requirements and specifications thoroughly.
  • Translate these into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  • Ensure that all testing-related work adheres to defined standards and procedures.
  • Follow best practices for test automation.
  • Create detailed logs documenting testing phases, test execution, and any identified defects.
  • Use these logs for reporting and tracking purposes.
  • Communicate any bugs, errors, or unexpected behavior to the development team and Collaborate on troubleshooting and resolution efforts.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing along with formulating test plans and approach, test scenarios and test scripts
  • Experience in JIRA process, understanding of the process flow and creation of the task.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Confluence, qTest tool
  • Writing and executing queries in SQL
  • Unix operating system, working with command line.
  • Experience with Agile and waterfall software development methodologies
  • Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications. Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly. High degree of initiative, self-direction, and ability to work well under pressure.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with mainframe screens, business rules engines
  • Understanding of credit card lifecycle and cards transactions processing
  • Experience with risk processing
