About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced BE Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As an BE Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with various platforms, systems, and third-party applications. The BE Engineer will have a deep understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and best practices for building high-performance APIs.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration and optimal user experiences.
- Implement data storage solutions and APIs that support various front-end features.
- Write efficient and secure code, perform code reviews, and adhere to best practices.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Work with AWS services to deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure (strong AWS experience is a plus).
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-based deployment (a plus).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum required experience 5 years
- Experience designing, integrating, and deploying applications that leverage AI/LLM technologies (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar frameworks) to enhance product functionality and user experience is strongly preferred.
