Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back Office Site Reliability Engineer to join our IT team in Pune. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in deploying, managing, and supporting business-critical applications in our cloud infrastructure. This includes tools like Atlassian, ADP, Concur, 8x8, Okta, O365, Zoom, Slack, ManageEngine, Crowd Strike, Productiv, Azure/AD, and Kandji. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our systems while supporting internal teams and driving continuous improvement through automation.
As part of the global team, this position will require the employee to work during Mountain Time Zone (MT) hours.
What you will do
- 5+ years of experience in Application Deployment & Management: Deploy, manage, and optimize business-critical applications in cloud environments (Atlassian, ADP, Concur, 8x8, Okta, O365, Zoom, Slack, ManageEngine, Crowd Strike, Productiv, Azure/AD, Kandji, etc.).
- Active Directory Management: Administer and manage Microsoft Active Directory environments to ensure smooth operations and system integrations.
- Device Support: Build policies and scripts to manage company-owned devices and ensure compliance with internal security and operational standards.
- Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain clear documentation on supported applications, processes, and training materials for internal employees and IT staff.
- User Support: Assist in general IT operations, including user support and troubleshooting issues related to cloud applications and internal infrastructure.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with internal teams to drive key initiatives and improve overall system performance.
- Automation Development: Plan and implement systems automation to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and ensure scalable solutions.
- Operations Support: Provide day-to-day operations support, including account management, workflow optimization, log analysis, troubleshooting, and service optimization.
- Vendor Management: Assist in evaluating and managing vendor relationships to ensure optimal service levels and performance.
- PKI & Scripting: Utilize your understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to maintain and troubleshoot security systems. Perform basic PowerShell and shell scripting tasks to support automation and operational needs.
- Agile Project Management: Support the IT team in using Agile methodologies for project planning and execution, contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes.
- Reporting & Analysis: Build and analyze reports from various tools to track application health, system performance, and operational efficiency.
What you will have
- Include the required skills. Experience: Proven experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing business-critical applications in cloud infrastructures (e.g., Atlassian, ADP, Concur, 8x8, Okta, O365, Zoom, Slack, ManageEngine, Crowd Strike, Productiv, Azure/AD, Kandji).
- Microsoft Active Directory: Strong experience in managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Active Directory environments.
- Scripting & Automation: Solid understanding of PowerShell and shell scripting. Experience with automation tools for system efficiency and scalability.
- IT Support & Troubleshooting: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues across a variety of systems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across different teams and functions to drive initiatives and deliver results.
- Documentation: Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in creating technical documentation and training materials.
- PKI Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and its application within system security.
- Agile Methodology: A basic understanding of Agile project management principles and practices.
- Vendor Management: Experience in evaluating and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure service and performance levels.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Ability to create reports from various tools and analyze system performance, providing actionable insights.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Experience with security tools and concepts such as CrowdStrike, MFA, and identity management solutions.
